GEORGE HARRISON
Far East Man [Living Legend LLRCD 088, 1CD]

Various venues and dates. Excellent soundboard.

How time flies… it’s been 11 years since George Harrison passed away on November 29, 2001.

Here’s something to remember him by.

Tracks 1 and 2 were released on a deleted video program. Tracks 4 through 8 have been released on a video program, but none of those tracks have been offered on CD. - Philip Cohen

Thanks to Phil for sharing the tracks.

Note: A longtime music fan, Philip Cohen was a contributor to the now-defunct ICE Magazine and compiled the boxsets for The Yardbirds, The Small Faces, Humble Pie and Nice.

Note: Click on the highlighted tracks to download the MP3s (these are high quality MP3s - sample rate of 224 kbps). As far as we can ascertain, these tracks have never been officially released on CD.

  4. A terrible loss, coming so soon after 9-11. A new book has been released by Ray Comfort that tracks the spiritual lives of each of the 4 Beatles, and a new 35 minute related video about John Lennon was also released. We haven’t had George Harrison d/l’s for awhile. Much appreciated, Philip and Big O.

  10. Wow, what a great surprise. Thought I knew about most of the well known unreleased George Harrison collections. Very glad to be wrong. And thanks again to the bigO and Philip Cohen. Just stumbled upon this site recently and continue to be gobsmacked by the quality, diversity, and sheer breadth of the collection. Kudos to all involved!

If anyone knows of available audio of George’s last concert, let me know: it was the benefit concert for the Natural Law Party at Royal Albert Hall on April 6, 1992. Check this out and tell me you don’t want more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcxrzAepWyU
Far more exciting than the Live In Japan official release.
