  3. to me this sounds better and punchier than the first show. Even Mick Taylor was awake this time and did his share of noodling on Midnight Rambler. Cheers Tony

  4. I have been waiting patiently for this. Thanks a lot. It is the next best thing to being there but without spending $1000 for a ticket. Hopefully we will get the US shows as well.

  5. Having Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman back in the fold gave the Stones a possible last chance to recreate their most intricate song ,”Can`t you Hear Me Knocking.”
This song hardly ever shows up on “fave stones song lists” yet to me it is one of their most intricate and musically rewarding creations.
Sure wish they would have given it a shot.
    thanks Big o

  8. The Rolling Stones have released a remix of “Doom And Gloom,” one of two new tracks on the band’s greatest hits collection, “GRRR!”
The song was remixed by DJ and producer Benny Benassi, best known for his summer club hit “Satisfaction”, in 2002.

The original “Doom And Gloom” single was recorded in Paris and produced by longtime Stones producer Don Was, who has worked with the band on five previous albums (Voodoo Lounge/ Stripped/ Bridges To Babylon/ Live Licks/ A Bigger Bang). Listen to it here -

  9. You have reached a new standard with these 2 shows, my friend. They are BOTH awesome to behold. I find that the quality of Rolling Stones performances has increased incredibly over the years. I have seen them 3 times: 1975 in Memphis (I listened from outside Memphis Memorial Stadium as they called it then), 1978 in Memphis, 1994 in Miami, and 1997 again in Miami. I honestly don’t know how they do it so darned good now when so many others simply can’t. Thank you!

  10. Well, in regards to all my instructions of using Youtube to add songs to the first show, as Gilda Radner of SNL as Rosanne Rosanna Dana would say, “Neaaaahhvverrrr Miiiinnd!”

  11. Dirty mind at work…. when I first glanced at the upper photo, the angle and flesh-toned lip-logo looks like a naked babe bent over on her knees with her open ass to the crowd…

  23. i paid for many many concerts in the 70s and many many in the 80s too. even many in the early 90s. the last show i saw was new yrs eve 96. til recently. in the early 80s i started taking pics so i didnt have to pay to get into shows as often. sometimes id get in and othertimes id get in free but id buy a ticket anyway just to be able to stay. other times id get to stay without having to buy a ticket but i wouldnt be able to stay in the same place.
but theres no reason to assume that i didnt pay for things at any time. i have never given this impression.
currently and in the last 6 years or so i have chosen to download my music rather than to buy it. i have thrown more than enough of my money into the industry in the last nearly half century than most ppl. if i wish to see any shows at this point ill pay to see them. i no longer take pics. i no longer record concerts from the audience. i dont buy cds and i very rarely buy dvds. there are exceptions.
what i choose to spend my money on isnt anyones business. i dont tell anyone how to spend theirs. i dont think its acceptable to harass ppl about what they do with their money. my comment was about the cost difference between 40 yrs ago and now. why is it no matter what i type a bunch of idiots will jump on it like a pack of rabid monkeys and not see themselves for what they are? then blame the victim somehow in some twisted psychotic game claiming i asked for it simply by mentioning a memory?? what the fk is wrong with u ppl?? i feel like charlton heston in the first 2 films of the planet of the apes series.

THAT JUST MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL DARTH.PEOPLE WORK,CREATE ,THEY GET PAID ,YOU CAN`T EXPECT THEM TO BE GLAD THAT YOU ALREADY PAID INTO “THE INDUSTRY ” AS YOU PUT IT. WHAT A MORONIC STATEMENT. HEY, I BOUGHT A HAMBURGER IN THE 60`S I SHOULD BE EATING FOR FREE NOW RIGHT ,I MEAN AFTERALL I PUT MONEY IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY.AND WAIT, THESE PANTS I`M WEARING, YUP , PAID FOR IN 1964 WHEN I BOUGHT MY FIRST PAIR OF JEANS. are u only downloading unreleased music on sites such as this by bands u have already purchased official product of? hmmm. why do i not believe that?

  41. u know.. if u scroll way way up.. to a few mins after the show ended.. u will find a link to the set list for saturdays show in bklyn. i posted it. here it is again for those who seem to have missed it the first time.

    http://www.se
    tlist.fm/setlist/the-rolling-stones/2012/barclays-center-brooklyn-ny-23da14ef.html

incidentally…the song.. i wanna be your man.. is the 2nd time in 48 yrs the stones have done this song. first time was first nite in london. this show on sat was the 3rd time mick taylor has performed with the band since 31 yrs ago. the 3rd time wyman has in 22 yrs. thats 1981 and 1990 respectively. and the 3rd time the stones have done you cant always get what u want with a choir live.

  43. 4 years is the man, thanks for the setlist!

By wurm on Dec 10, 2012

  44. i checked the link. works fine. it breaks up onto more than one line because of its length.
i copied and pasted it into my browser and it worked just fine. talk about no basic computer skills.

  45. You’re the IDIOT who gave us A BROKEN LINK THAT DOESN’T CONNECT to the set list. If the link worked fine the first time, U WOULDN’T HAVE NEEDED TO REPOST IT above.

The length of the link DOESN’T MATTER because the link 4yrsnojob posted was TWICE AS LONG as your link! LOOK AT IT!

And btw… WHY POST A LINK TO A SET LIST THAT WAS ALREADY POSTED JUST ABOVE YOUR COMMENT??

By Dingus on Dec 10, 2012

  46. talk about no basic computer skills.

talk about no basic people skills

By wurm on Dec 10, 2012

  47. i didnt need to repost it.. i did it to show u that it was there. i quoted myself. the link needed copying and pasting. i didnt know that it wouldnt turn up as a clickable link til after i hit submit comment. i cant retract the post. i dont know why the link split in 2. i did it a 2nd time and it split in 2 again. i went to the page by copying and pasting the link from this page to make sure it worked. u said that i had no basic computer skills. if u had them u would know how to copy n paste also. geesh. this is unbefuckinglievable!! whats wrong with u? when i went to the page by pasting the link i then copied the url from my address bar again…and pasted it into this box that im typing in now.. and submitted the comment again. this time the link showed up as a link that u could click. sometimes this happens sometimes it doesnt. thats not due to anything i did wrong.
and yes.. 4yrs’ link is longer.. and yes it splits in 2. look at it. dont u see a split link? my comment about the split link isnt that it loses its clickable quality because of its length.. its that it became split because of its length. u arent paying attention here.
but i got the link on one line this last time.
and u ask why post a link to a set list that was already posted? well my question then is.. why post a set list that there was already a link to a set list posted for? it works both ways. see?
a few mins after the end of the show i posted a link leading to the full set list. the link itself may not have been clickable. but the link worked anyway. anyone could have copied and pasted it if they had basic computer skills. this is common sense. i understand that u of all ppl dont get this. i dont understand why however. when i posted the set list previously i was attacked for wasting bandwidth when a simple link would do. now when i post a link its the other way around. now its better to have posted the full set list instead of the link. holy mother of god!!!!!

By darth on Dec 10, 2012

  48. pay no attention to the man in the box up above there yelling..move along…

By wurm on Dec 10, 2012

  49. U MADE THE SAME EXACT STUPID MISTAKE TWICE, U IDIOT! U posted the SAME BROKEN LINK TWICE, then u posted a link that actually worked AFTER I pointed out your STUPID mistake!

Click on 4yrs link- IT WORKS! It takes u to the site he described! Click on your first two broken links- you go to the site http://www.iis.se YOU MORON! That’s why U NEEDED TO REPOST A PROPER LINK to the setlist site! U had to do it in a PATHETIC attempt to SAVE FACE, then try to B.S. YOUR WAY OUT of it!

  51. Sorry - only skimming, didn’t recognize split link. Stopped reading at Mary Blige, thought it was about first show, not third. If I had been more careful, I would have recognized it as a split failed link and just retyped it. That’s what we get for ignoring. Why not allow space to each other, accept that we’re different and that all make mistakes or hold contrary views. Only The One was perfect, and He got killed for it. Our only other choice is to go on ignoring, so just choose one or the other path.

    By 4yrsnojob on Dec 10, 2012

  52. 4yrs, true about The One, but remember he rose from the dead and ended up in a HUGE Dragonball-style knock-down drag-out with Agent Smith. Way too cool!

  53. Why not allow space to each other, accept that we’re different and that all make mistakes or hold contrary views. Only The One was perfect, and He got killed for it.

You mean that contrary view where the pathetic turd classified all military people as robotic morons?

By sluggo on Dec 10, 2012

  54. Hey 4yrsnojob. Is “The One” you’re referring to “Neo” as surmised by Golgo Hakase, cuz he’s a fictional character, like Jesus. I envision The One more like Super Saiyan Goku. He was able to save the universe! He too, however, was fictional. Maybe we should just ignore the ignorant rantings of a “pathetic turd” to quote Sluggo. Now that’s real!

  57. for those who want a copy now there is a full complete set of the bklyn show on tube. since no one has posted a going down yet on youtube oddly enough it gives us a chance to hear the 6min version that gary clark jr. joined in on. it was marvelous. while the quality isnt amazing on this recording it isnt terrible. there are copies of many of the other songs done at the show on youtube in fantastic quality including gimme shelter with mary j blige. the copy on tube is in flac and compressed in .z01/zip form. so u will need winrar or another extracting program to unzip it with. there are a number of links that are offered so there should be no problem finding one that works for u.
remember mick n keith on letterman tues nite reading the top ten list.
since eric is going to be at the 12-12 show odds are good that he will be at the ppv show on saturday. it’ll be nice to have a nice sbd of him with the stones. woohoo!! cant wait.

  83. I`ve been a stones fan since day one up until this past two weeks.
Dragging some of these performers onstage with them is akin to releasing someting on K-Tel records just for attention.
I`ll always believe in Keith and charlie , but Mick you sare just a fame junky anymore.
oh well it`s been a great 50 years and everything has a shelf life. Now if you`ll excuse me , I have to cough up a lady gag gag..arghhhh

By sluggo on Dec 16, 2012

  84. 100% correct sluggo! its as bad as the albums where the singer has duets with 15 different people. every gimme shelter guest star has been bad or unneccessary.
