While this show has been shared among fans, this is probably the best-sounding version.

JAYPFUNK LOW GEN SBD TAPE/DREW51 2011 NEW TRANSFER
This 2012 entry marks the long awaited return of the 1978 02 15 Berlin SBD recording to FZ Shows thanks to the generous tape contribution by jaypfunk and professional 2011 tape transfer by Drew51. This fresh transfer from JPF’s low generation SBD tape has been speed corrected and patched to completion using the excellent DogBreath AUD MC recording for fills (thanks to the generous tape contribution by DogBreath and professional 2012 tape transfer by WIU2B). The entire performance runs 153 minutes and 39 seconds and although the SBD tape does exhibit the element of tape hiss, it is an excellent solid A grade listen representing the best sounding version of the SBD tape acquired and assembled for FZ Shows to date. Enjoy this historic FZ time capsule performance of 34 years + past, presented to FZ Shows @ Zappateers this Leap Day 2012.

hey bigo, i can’t remember if i have this or not on cd-r’s. i will look in my long box boots. i have a stack of zappa boots in one of my boxes. i know i have one from berlin, but i don’t know if it’s this one.
i got that dan lampinski providence 1975. it’s a great one. i trade with a guy who’s on dime, and he sends me stacks of zappa shows. it works out good cause i weed out new generation avant i either don’t care for or listen to much. these days i prefer sun ra.
best,
ed

Thanks BigO! I saw Frank Zappa in concert only 3 months before this date. What a great band!
By aking on Aug 21, 2013
hey bigo, it was work checking all these song titles, but i think i have it correct. now it should be:
i’m not sure what knick knack purple lagoon intro is, but i’ll put it.
dancin’ fool
tryin’ to grown a chin
a pound for a brown (on the bus)
yo’ mama
titties & beer
i assume the black page is correct. they played it at poughkeepsie in 1978 which you offered last year. i have seen black page #2, but i will go with what you have listed.
bobby brown goes down is how i tag it.
dinah-moe humm
little house i used to live in is correct, but on the cd they added the. i have little house… in my tags.
i think, that’s all. i will get it in the morning. if anybody would like to add anything, please do.
thanks,
ed

hi bigO- i found two minor mistakes on the track listings-
track 107 is misspelled, it should be baby “snakes”,
and frank himself introduces track 203 as “the black page #2″.
its a fine show, thanks!
hey ed saad, i can’t believe i found these before u did!
By barth on Aug 22, 2013
hey barth, i missed snakes! you’re good. i printed out the tracklist and made all the necessary corrections on paper so when i fix the tags, they’ll all be correct. i will put black page #2 that is how i have it tagged. i thought, that was correct, but i wasn’t sure. i saw it on zappateers.
i freed up some drive space just now to get this zappa show.
i got alice in chains-bham, al 4.30.13. sounds good! i can still use yes-bham, al 7.19.13. it was a killer show!
next shows for me are the sold out black crowes show here at iron city 9.10.13 and the sword/clutch at the same venue 9.16.13. look for the shows on dime, bigo! the crowes wasn’t cheap so i definitely can use the mp3’s. i have seen the sword the last two times they played at workplay theatre here 11.28.10 and 11.19.12. they’re a great metal band from austin, tx. i like the clutch album called earth rocker. it’s good!
best,
ed

Hi ed- ive been grabbing a lot of stuff lately but works been insane and i dont have much time to really listen to it. the best so far is Dog Party’s lost control album. its two sisters ages 15 & 17 playing buzz guitar punk and its pretty damn good! also sounding good but i haven’t listened to the entire albums yet are Diarrhea Planet, Tijuana Planets, and King Khan & The Shrines. Low Cut Connie is good bar band rock.
i have my ticket for neko case, also barrence whitfield & the savages, and ill probably go see robbie fulks, and lucinda williams. not sure if i can make the oblivians or mark lanegan.
By barth on Aug 22, 2013
the link i offered is at 320 and a bit better quality. it is an upgrade to the one offered here back in march last year. how much u enjoyed it isnt important. how much others might with the link i provided is.
u saying its a sbd after i said it was is quite profound. good going.
By darth on Aug 22, 2013
“an upgrade” Says the one who chastised people here who wanted flac files instead of mp3s.
“absolutely worth it.” Says the entity who thought Joan Jett rocked da house on TV.
“just dl it.” Says the creature who doesn’t want anyone to tell him what to do.
“quite profound” My belches are more profound than your inanities.
By Everyone Else On bigO on Aug 22, 2013
hey barth, i am not real familiar with any of those bands you mentioned just mark lanegan. i like screaming trees. i saw him sing when he was in queens of the stone age-songs for the deaf album. this was in sept 2002 here in b’ham, al at oak mountain amphitheatre. it was one of those festival type shows. they did a buy one get one free deal so i just paid $7.50 to see them. me and my brother showed up at 6:45pm saw them then left. i was home by 8pm. i really don’t care for theory of a deadman or nickelback so we left.
i saw queens of the stone age again here at workplay theatre 3.19.11. be nice, if bigo could share it. i got the show they offered from berlin. it’s a good one. you should get it just cause i fixed the tracklist.
i just finished listening to zappa. man, this show is great! i think, my tags are pefect. i only forgot to put (includes bowling on charen riff) on little house… i will add it, when i get home.
i remember you said you saw zappa at the spectrum in philly in 74. yeah, i have that show. it’s great! it was in my b-day batch. i played it a few weeks ago.
best,
ed

darth boring boring darth.
By stinky jam on Aug 22, 2013
Hello Ed Saad and barth
Thanks for the feedback.
By bigozine2 on Aug 23, 2013
wow.. where to begin.
flac isnt an upgrade from mp3. its a format that offers the ability to transfer without losing data. a file of any quality including horribly poor can be converted to flac. and this site doesnt offer flac. i agree that mp3 isnt a very good format but its what is offered here so we make do. and yes 320 is an upgrade to the one offered here even when its an mp3 file format.
and yes.. jett did rock the house on that tv show. even if i dont care that much for her the performance was very good for her at this point in her career. she has lost it in recent years but my comment was for the people who might enjoy what she was/is and who like her. i tend to collect many tv performances and i keep track of whats happening live on tv since those performances are different than the ones we have on the regular albums we own. u dont have to like joan jett. other people might. this isnt all about u.
do u want people telling u what to do? that 3rd one didnt make any sense at all.
im sure u think your belches are profound. therein lies the first of many problems.
By darth on Aug 23, 2013
So boring… belch.
“the performance was very good for her at this point in her career.”
Translation: She was lame and I make excuses for boring old farts.
“she has lost it in recent years”
Her last album was 7 years ago. Duh.
“i tend to collect many tv performances”
Get a life, hoarder.

By blue moon on Aug 24, 2013
did yall know that peaches en regalia was the first cd single?
By darth on Aug 24, 2013
Wrong again, darth. It was Dire Straights in 1985, Peaches En Regalia was released in 1987. Do a Google search. I have no doubt now that you’re just a troll, needy for attention. This discussion is over.

By pure drivel swill on Aug 24, 2013
peaches en regalia as a cd single came out in 83.
By darth on Aug 25, 2013
all my sources say the single was released in ‘87, but if darth says ‘83 guess they are wrong.

Hmmm, Darth is wrong, but almost right.
Peaches en Regalia was not the first cd single.
However, it was the first 3″ cd mini single.
By Diamond Dug on Aug 31, 2013
Peaches en Regalia was probably the first CD mini single released by Rykodisc, on November 13, 1987. It is uncertain that it was the first CD mini single ever released.

I cant believe that at one time, there was actual discussions about music. I’ll even listen to darth, sluggo and that limey hambone whopper swapper. No idea how this place became a haven for misfits, racists, degenerates, pedophiles, necrophiliacs, beastality and just plain old men fucking each other and giving blowjobs. Seems like Derrick and U L E are the culprits. Ax them and music talk begins
