Second Night At Carnegie 2014 [no label, 2CD]

Live at the Carnegie Hall, New York City, NY; January 7, 2014. Very good to excellent audience recording.

Thanks to Mr Railing for recording the show; and to seaweed1010 who shared it at Dime.

The Mr Railing series was started to produce recordings without any crowd distractions. The hope is to try to capture a definitive recording, beginning with eliminating all up close crowd presence. Going against all stealth taping logic, the mics are out in the open, in this case, strategically placed inside 1″ wide holes down by my feet. This allowed me to capture the performance with as little up close crowd presence one could achieve at Carnegie Hall.

So for your listening pleasure, the finest recording I could make from my location - free of almost all up close clapping, talking, singing, screaming and void of “that person” resulting in nothing but the music - night #2 of Neil Young at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Thanks also to frikiepalo for the artwork.

  9. u dont think that fans of neil who enjoyed this show would be interested in seeing a video of him from several different angles of this exact show? if not.. why not? what bothers u so much that i posted this link for others on here to enjoy that u felt compelled to comment like this? whats wrong with u? i can see if u have a point of view that is worth reading when it has something to do with something i said or the material on the page at hand.. but where is what u posted doing this? dont u understand that what youre doing is stupid? it serves no purpose. im not going to lose my net connection. im not going to stop posting on here. and im not going away. deal with it. if what i post bothers u that much.. why not just avoid reading my postings? skip over them if u must. but youre not offering anyone anything with these ridiculously childish attacks and harassing comments. grow up.
