Third Night At Carnegie 2014 [no label, 2CD]

Live at the Carnegie Hall, New York City, NY; January 9, 2014. Very good to excellent audience recording.

Neil Young drops Mr Soul from the setlist and adds Helpless, Birds and Journey Through The Past.

Thanks to petercul who recorded the show and shared the tracks at Dime.

petercul noted:

This set was recorded full econo-mode, straight to my Edirol R-09’s built-in mics. The copied from SD card to my Mac and cut into tracks and exported to FLAC with Amadeus Pro. Fingerprints created with xACT; Torrent file and upload facilitated with Transmit.

This is the third night of Neil’s four-night run at Carnegie Hall. Mind blower. Just listen. Pretend you are there. Bask in Neil’s Applause. All BS aside there is no way you will not enjoy this show.

Front cover by frikiepalo (modified slightly here) - Thanks!

  8. Thanks BigO!!! Really awesome of you to post all 4 shows. Neil is getting on in the years and still sounds great. These shows were unusual in that Neil isn’t a “greatest hits” guy. These were one for the fans that have stayed with him all these years through the experiments and tangents he often went on. Carnegie Hall is a top end venue and if he admonished the audience, well, that’s Neil! I don’t like to engage the trolls, but Hey Emperor’s New Clothes guy…if you don’t like Neil then keep it to yourself…otherwise, you’re bunghole is showing…put on your dress.
