The Master in His Workshop [Ring Records CD 1260, 1CD]

Ring-A-Ding-Ding! sessions; December 19-21, 1960. Johnny Mandel, arranger. Very good soundboard.

As usual with such compilations, duplication of tracks (on various titles) is inevitable.

Thanks to the person who shared this on the net in 2007.

Uploader’s notes:

Excerpts of sessions for the album Ring-A-Ding-Ding!, with the usual assortment of alternate takes, incomplete takes, false starts, session chatter, etc. One notable inclusion is the brief attempt at “Have You Met Miss Jones?” Sinatra can be heard expressing the opinion that the arrangement doesn’t fit the mood of the album, and the track was soon abandoned. (A completely different Billy May arrangement of the song, lacking the opening verse, was subsequently issued on the Reprise album Sinatra Swings aka Swing Along With Me.)

There are several versions of Ring-A-Ding-Ding! sessions out there. Of the two I’ve heard, this one is the better sounding, although there’s a bit of tape hiss.

  4. Wasnt Frank Sinatra married to Mia Farrow in the sixties ? believe that she was five years younger than his daughter Nancy, believe he was 50 and she 20 or something like that, anyway great post love his voice

  5. Who died and made you the boss, Eric?

I made the mistake of marrying Frank Sinatra, I had to drop his sorry, skinny ass after a year. Yeah, he had a big cock, but he didn’t know how to use it. He was as subtle as a jack hammer when he pounded me, and just as affectionate. I turned him down more times than I let him bang me. He was on and off more easily than a light switch. I had more fun in the sack with Artie Shaw, for cripes sake.

Frank was a bigger pussy than Ethel Merman’s! Insecure, no friends, no work, always crying like a baby. I had to pay the goddamn rent, he was so broke! What little money he had went for booze. After he faked suicide I got myself off with him next to me in bed more times than he ever did.

He probably had more fun circle jerking with the Rat Pack assholes than he had with that dirty hippie chick Mia Fucking Farrow. I dished with most of the other broads he made it with, they heard about his cock, and were sooo disappointed when he just jumped on and pounded away. Why else do you think none of them went back for more?

  7. Thanks Fir This………Keep The Sinatra Coming…Inside Strings Maybe ???

By Michael on Nov 26, 2016

  8. Another Frank Sinatra Saturday, and this time from the man’s highball swilling, gambling, womanizing peak when he really did have the world on a string and helped get a president elected. The Mad Men era starts here, brethren. His version of Stardust is only intro, no verse! Again, if interested grab quickly; the family will find and commercially release these.

By Tony Pizza on Nov 27, 2016

  9. Uncle Miltie had the biggest cock in Hollywood , Steve McQueen was a close second Miltie had the longest reportedly 17 inches with a 12 inch circumference Steve had the fattest reportedly the size of 3 coors cans put together , ouch , Poor Ann Margret , Tuesday Weld Faye Dunaway and of course Ali McGraw or lucky them depending on their pain tolerance

  12. This is hilarious. But, seriously, the recordings are awesome. Sinatra would rarely be this focused and in such flawless voice in the studio again.

  13. im sick of you faggot fucks insultin frank ,frank was too much man for just one broad, ava gardner was a crazy bitch as most broads are, frank got a lot of bush on the side ans she couldnt handle it.angie dickenson judy garland and liza minelli were all banged by frank as waslee remick peggy lee and lots of other broads, frank was also a great singer and movie star, lets not forget that bros.he was also connected with the mob and could have somebody taken care of with a phone call.he also banged marilyn monroe and set up his buds the kennedys with her ,both jfk and bobby banged her too cause frank set it up

    By Carlos,Cuevas on Nov 30, 2016

  14. Frank was too much alright, too much drama, and too little fun in the sack. We all got tired of him and his big cock pretty quickly, why the hell else do you think we all dropped him like the bad habit he was? He never learned to do anything more than bang away and he never lasted even a minute. At least he didn’t cry himself to sleep on the sofa like he did constantly with Ava. What a pussy.
