Plays Soft Machine
Torino Jazz Festival 2016 [no label, 1CD]

Live at the Piazza Castello, Torino, Italy; May 1, 2016 (broadcast on December 6, 2016). Very good radio broadcast.

This is an orchestra run by Fernando Faraò (brother of pianist Antonio), originally all dedicated to Mike Westbrook and Alan Gowen, then to Canterbury jazz in general. They have also been seen as a Soft Machine tribute group.

Thanks to giojazz for sharing the show at Dime.

  2. Woo hoo! Haven’t played it yet, but this looks like an early Christmas present. Sweet, BigO, sweet.
