WYNTON MARSALIS & LINCOLN CENTER JAZZ ORCHESTRA
A Classical Jazz Christmas
New York 1989 [no label, 2CD]

Live at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, New York, NY; December 22, 1989. Fairly to very good audio (ripped from TV broadcast).

A live broadcast featuring Lincoln Center’s Classical Jazz Orchestra, with trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and his jazz sextet, celebrating the Christmas season with a program that includes traditional carols and seasonal songs.

Thanks to vladsmythe for sharing the video at Dime.

vladsmythe noted:

Part 2 suffers from intermittent video tape tracking issues. This affects only the audio briefly, but it is a bit annoying. I was unable to remedy this condition, as it was on on the original edit.

  2. Merry Christmas to everyone in the Bigo Network and thank you Bigo for posting amazing music in 2016. We look forward to the musical offerings in 2017!

My 16 year old son plays the trumpet and loves Wynton Marsalis. He will love this as will I.

Cheers everyone, wherever you are in the world.
