Fairfax 1997 [no label, 1CD]

HFSmas Holiday Nutcracker Concert. Live at The Patriot Center (Now named EagleBank Arena), George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia; November 30, 1997. Very good FM broadcast.

Save Ferris is a ska punk band formed circa 1995 in Orange County, California. Their name is a reference to the 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. In 1995, the band began to perform underground venues in Southern California. In 1996, the band won a Grammy showcase award for best-unsigned band and a contract with Epic Records (Sony). Their album It Means Everything from 1997 was their first full-length album. By 1999, the band moved from ska-pop into pop-punk. After a hiatus, in 2017, Save Ferris, led by the inimitable front-woman Monique Powell, released the Checkered Past EP. - wikipedia

  3. Hey Anti , I’m watching the ALCS Astros vs Yankees . Fuck the Yankees . The starting pitcher didn’t even make it to the fifth inning. Yanks have already used 4 pitchers and it’s the 7th inning Garret Cole on the mound for Houston. Still in the game . Doubt he’ll finish either but at least Houston lets their guys go deeper in the games . Fuckin analytics , pitch counts etc , treating pitchers like pussys . That’s why I can’t stand baseball today . Lot different than when we was young watching Palmer and Gibson ‘’ Koufax Marishall , Drysdale etc
