  2. I like latter day Sinatra as much if not more than his early voice. While it isn’t as technically perfect, it has the power of maturity and the energy of not bowing to age. Dylan is much like that, as was Leonard Cohen.

  4. I’ve told this story before but it bears repeating. Back in 1968 I did a film with Frank Sinatra called Lady in Cement . I had just finished doing Bandolaro with Dean Martin and Dean although drunk during most of the shooting still gave me a few good poundings with his big man meat . When I got to the set of Lady in Cement Frank was very aggressive and came onto me constantly. I’m sure Dean told him about me as they were best friends.

  5. One day Frank took down his pants and exposed the longest fattest Coc I had ever seen . I then became filled with excitement and anticipation as Frank proceeded to pound me hard and fast . It was fantastic. This went on for several days . I was too sore to walk for days afterwards causing delays in shooting and production. I couldn’t walk right for some time after that film . My next film was 100 Rifles with Jim Brown , I’m sure you know what happened on that set as well . Another giant prick and more relentless poundings . I’m still sore as hell over 50 years later .

  6. Wasn’t Sinatra married to Mia Farrow when he was like 50 and she was 19 or twenty something? He musta had a salami in his pants to pull that off .

  10. I was married to Frank for several years , and although we had our problems, , money, cigarettes, booze , infidelities and depression, the bedroom was our saving grace. It’s where Frank was at his best . He was a giant of a man . Literally. Frank only weighed 120 lbs but 100 of it was Dic .

  24. Critic-a person who judges the merits of literary, artistic, or musical works

Critical-expressing adverse or disapproving comments or judgments

I made no negative comment regarding Sinatra. I did express my opinion that while I like early Sinatra I have an especial affinity for his work late in his career. It takes a lot of courage for an artist to go out and risk being compared to his younger self. That’s part of what ran Elvis Presley into an early grave (that and tens of thousands of pills and perhaps just as many cheeseburgers).

When an artist is able to age with grace, I believe that’s very commendable. Unlike some fans, I don’t expect an artist to retire at age 30 and never be heard from again.

By Derrick on Dec 1, 2019

  30. Frank had a Big Un . No rumor but fact .

    By U L E on Dec 1, 2019

  31. Dylan has become the old bluesman he’s wanted to be since his debut album, and his current performances of his sixties and seventies songs now have the benefit of 40-50 years of experience behind them. Just my opinion, I’m not saying anyone should agree with me.

By Mark on Dec 1, 2019

  32. No one cares about your opinions Mark . Go away please .

    By T J on Dec 1, 2019

  33. Duh! The comments section is for people’s opinions about music. If you are looking for someone to fight with you will need to look elsewhere. If you don’t like my opinions then just skip them.

By THE ANTICHRIST on Dec 2, 2019

  35. Is Howard Stern another Jew bastard Anti ? That’s news to me .

By Derrick on Dec 2, 2019

  36. Hey guys , I just read somewhere that Johnny Carson used to bone Joan Rivers on a regular basis. That might explain why Carson was so pissed when she got her own show . Word is Johnny never would speak to her again after that .

    By T J on Dec 2, 2019

  37. Oh yeah Derrick. For sure. Stern is Hebrew. Paula Abdul also is a Jewess

By THE ANTICHRIST on Dec 2, 2019

  43. Finaly an entire Sinatra show, and a superb sound quality. Thank you big O’.
Some précisions about this show from Stephen Holden’s New York Times rewiew of the concert: ” Frank Sinatra was in an expansive mood when he took the stage at the Byrne Meadowlands Arena on Thursday night… but more important, Mr Sinatra, just four days away from his 68th birthday was in remarkable vocal condition. Backed by the Buddy Rich orchestra , he demonstrated the range and tonal control of a singer half his age.”
