  4. Bowie was not just a lyricist so you have to have some kind of cojones to completely re-write the melody of certain classic pieces (Heroes?!Ashes to Ashes!) especially if you have a really weak voice. But the times when you do try to emulate the originals and you can’t really play it does not bode very well to try to play Mick Ronson licks (Queen Bitch) but please if you are going to attempt it at all get people who can sing and not turn it into some kind of easy listening James Last MOR trip (Suffragette City is a LOW!). Truly Dreadful.

  8. That was not me above . Nothing offensive, just don’t give understand why people can’t get their own names . I’m a big Bowie fan myself by the way . This pretty much sucks and dosent do the songs justice . My favorite Bowie period were the thin white duke days 76

  9. Yikes! Points awarded for the performers’ obvious reverence for the Thin White Duke, but nobody familiar with or a fan of Bowie would be able to listen to this. Perhaps for comic appeal?

How ’bout more from Bowie himself? Really enjoyed the ‘83 show recently posted here!
