Tabla player Zakir Hussain, bassist Dave Holland, and saxophonist Chris Potter find common ground in the Cross Currents Trio. Exploring the musical bonds between jazz and Indian classical music, the ensemble pays tribute to pioneering musicians and composers on opposite sides of the world who built a bridge which could be traversed in both directions.

A classical tabla virtuoso of the highest order, Zakir Hussain’s consistently brilliant and exciting performances have established him as a national treasure in his own country, India, and as one of India’s reigning cultural ambassadors. A player with one of the most distinguished careers in jazz, bassist Dave Holland brings his singular vision to the trio. Having emerged as a leading light of his generation, saxophonist Chris Potter showcases limitless creativity and a vibrant sense of swing.

Under the collective group name of Cross Currents Trio, Dave Holland, Zakir Hussain and Chris Potter released Good Hope in October 2019, a monumental and exceptional album that will inspire and excite a global audience for its formidable display of virtuosity, brilliance and sophisticated musical language

“Eli, Freddie Fender, CJ, Groupie Chick Traci, Derrick, U L E, Terrence, Bill, Smashmouth - You’ve really gone rabid repeating and talking to yourself. When you are treated like an adult, you ask for supervision/moderation! The word is self-restraint. Isn’t it obvious why you are not at other sites? They’ve have long banned you.”

  7. My hero Trump lost, and I got my ass beaten defending him here in 2016. That’s why I’ve been trying to get my revenge here with all my fake IDs for so long.

I’m a really fucked up mental case. I hate myself too.
