LINDA RONSTADT
Keeping Out Of Mischief [Another Panda Production, 1CD]

Unreleased 1981 LP. Very good soundboard.

Thanks to lilpanda and goody for sharing the tracks at Dime.

+ + + + +

I’ve taken lilpanda’s fine remaster and tuned those tracks up here (they all run a bit slow/flat in the original edition.) I’ve also been able to improve a good amount of flutter - still not perfect considering its original source, but notably better now. I’ve also updated the tracking so that the music starts right up in each song.

As I said in lilpanda’s thread, it’s a very sweet peek behind a curtain most folks never had a ghost of a chance to look at and/or listen to. Linda’s Nelson Riddle albums are among my all-time favorites - I urge you all to check them out if you haven’t already and fall in love with them as I have. If this is what led to those, regardless of its being shelved, it’s definitely something we all needed to be aware of and have a chance to hear. Her accompanists are stellar and her singing is spot on as always.

I hope you don’t mind grabbing it yet again - it’s a small file set and I’m very pleased to give it a big upgrade!
