LED ZEPPELIN
Fort Worth 1973 [no label, 2CD]
Live at the
Tarrant County Convention Center, Fort Worth, Texas; May 19, 1973. Very good soundboard. New 2022 Remaster.

Thanks to dadgad for sharing the show at Dime.

Mountain, Dime:

John Bonham sounds tremendous.

nakedeye25, Dime:

Nice job sir! Great clarity (as with the 2019 remaster), but with a nice bottom end added in which gives it a solid, full sound. I enjoyed your 2019 version, but this is definitely a step up. Thank you and much appreciated!

pg_dubi, Dime:

No more that dry sound. Thanks again dadgad!

Notes:

The raw analogue source doesn’t come from Sean The Bootlegger’s tapes set. I received it as 1st Gen > DAT > CDR along with the Mobile and SF Kezar SBD from an US West Coast trader moons ago. Considering the saga that surrounds these SBD tapes I prefer to list it as unverified.

Lineage:
Unverified Analogue low gen source
> DAT > CDr > WAV > FLAC

  23. Hey Ronald! Don’t let them fool you. DD would have had to be at least 16 to have fought at Iwo Jima and that would have made him AT LEAST 38 and not subject to the draft. If he was an officer or had specific skillsets he might have elected to to go.

Those subtle hints would also have to make DD born at least as early as 1929 making him at least 93 years old.

While he ~could~ be a rock -n-roll fan he more than likely would have rebelled from his parents love of vaudeville and the Charleston and should be screaming for Benny Goodman, Dorsey Bros and Glenn Miller.

Seeing their juvenile comments posted here over the years, I call BULLSHIT! And if I’m wrong maybe their heads will explode in rage and bring some real music talk back to bigO

By Sumdh Umfuqh on Nov 4, 2022

  24. oops! I meant he would have been at least 38 and not subject to the draft for the Viet Nam War.

By Sumdh Umfuqh on Nov 4, 2022

  25. Sumach, do you really think they would lie? Only a true lowlife would lie about their military service.

By Ronald on Nov 4, 2022

  26. I think Sumdh Umfuqh is Swappers’ husband

By Rightup Dias on Nov 4, 2022

  27. There’s only a few rational people here. Most are posted by one person with multiple personalities!! This used to be a great music talk site but the last few years have been pathetic.

You’ll see they make posts using other people’s names but they forget which personality they’re supposed to be using. That exposes the same spelling and grammatical errors, repeated favorite words as well as patterns of speech which gives them away.

By Sumdh Umfuqh on Nov 4, 2022

  28. Sorry to break your hearts, you back seat drivers, but this poop chute is EXIT ONLY. I prefer the ladies born with ovaries. You keep on taking it Rightup Dias.

By Sumdh Umfuqh on Nov 4, 2022

  29. Great sounding stuff! I just wish that we had the rest of the show. Has the complete set been published anywhere?

Thank you for what you’ve provided!

By Paul on Nov 4, 2022

  30. Time to annilihate the fuckin Jew. All the problems in the world is because of the worthless loathsome Jew. Enjoyed watching Schindlers List where the Jew headstones were used in the roadways for the tanks and troops to move thru.

By The Jew Faggot Namestealer on Nov 4, 2022

  31. The Zionist bastards will not be happy unless they are controlling the media. The Holocaust never took place. It was the Zion culture

By The Jew Faggot Namestealer on Nov 5, 2022

  32. The Holocaust was fabricated by the Jew media. We all know those pictures of stacked bodies were touched up and there is no way that those pictures are real. The fuckin jew scum jew filth is widely publicized. Right down to Kyrie Irving being anti-semitic. Since when is anti jewism a big deal. Just like the coons. Now we haVE woke culture. Fuck the coon and fuck the jew

By The Jew Faggot Namestealer on Nov 5, 2022

  33. @Some dumb fuck, oh how I wish I were as clever as you… your name… the irony.. Oscar Wilde would be creaming his pants if he were here.

And as for your ability to detect language patterns - I think I should buy you a rail ticket to Washington; the Pentagon needs great brains like yours.

I could go on and on… but I won’t. I’ll just invite you to go fuck yourself, you jumped up arrogant jerkoff.

By Rightup Dias on Nov 5, 2022

  34. That’s telling him. Way to go, Rightup!

By Leonard on Nov 5, 2022

  35. Hey SDF you are so right man. Not enough discussion on here of the music. Let’s start a topic and see who joins in, shall we?

Yeah OK, how ’bout versions of Machine Gun? Which is best, Band of Gypsys or Berkeley? Or Isle of Wight? Or Fehmarn?
    What do we all think?

    Wow man that’s heavy.

By Wanker on Nov 5, 2022

  36. That’s so 60s. Let’s get up to date guys. Which was Keith Emersons most boring solo? Was it (i) Tarkus (ii) the Blues Variation in Pictures at an Exhibition or (iii) Pirates? RIP Keef, man.

By Meat beater on Nov 5, 2022

  37. Or we could have an illness thread.iirc in the old days some of the real music aficionados were sick a lot of the time, they suffered for da moozik

By Old time idiot on Nov 5, 2022

  38. It was Are You Ready Eddie dicwad. Fuckin A RighupDiass. Sumduqfuck is actually swappers other nom de plume. Best version of Machine Gun is Band of Gypsys fuckworth.

By The Jew Faggot Namestealer on Nov 5, 2022

  40. I thought Sumdh and swappers are married. I dunno who gives and who takes, though.

By Rightup Dias on Nov 5, 2022

  41. I am really liking this music discussion. My question - is “Relayer” an unrecognised gem and the best album Yes ever made? Merci, Patrick

By Patrick from Switzerland on Nov 5, 2022

  42. I like Jon and Vangelis. Does anyone else?

By 70s Rolling Stone reader on Nov 5, 2022

  43. I think the greatest cultural artefact the world has ever seen or heard is Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. I play it at least twice daily. If anyone in Boise, Idaho is interested in putting on an amateur version, please PM me.

By Pseudo intellectual on Nov 5, 2022

  44. Hey pseud, you sound just my kind of guy x

By swappers on Nov 5, 2022

  45. swappers is the catcher and sumdqfuck is the pitcher

By Derrick on Nov 5, 2022

  46. See what happens?!?! Hit them with half a brain and they get defensive. Rightup Dias, I’m no more clever than you in wittiness.I’d tell you to BLOW ME but you probably would like to!!

By Sumdh Umfuqh on Nov 5, 2022

  47. Let’s talk music. A hugely underrated guitarist was Eddie Hazel from Parliament-Funkadelic. Maggotbrain is one of the best guitar solos ever!!

By Sumdh Umfuqh on Nov 5, 2022

  48. Where are the rest of the songs . I’m sure the show didn’t end with Stairway. Also Plants Voice was shot by 73 , the rest of the band was still in fine form though

  51. That’s how it works here. I shred one personality Rightup Dias and another personality Derrick has a pissing fit. You’re all bark little doggie Derrick. I hope the voices in your head stop and your head or heart explodes.

By Sumdh Umfuqh on Nov 8, 2022

  52. My ass will only be available to be fucked for the next seven days.

And the seven days after that.

And the seven days after that.
