St Paul 2013 [no label, 2CD]

Live at the Xcel Energy Center, St Paul, MN; April 28, 2013. A mix of soundboard (IEM feed) and audience recording. Excellent audio.

This is one for the Fleetwood Mac fans. While we had earlier shared a very good audience recording of the Columbus show, fans are likely to enjoy this soundboard more.

Thanks to Alzeppelin who recorded and shared the show at Dime. Alzeppelin noted:

For this show I tried out a pair of CSC Mics I had purchased but am on the fence when it comes to using them again because the sound came out sort of thin compared to what I actually heard during the show. The IEM feed is well balanced favoring Stevie’s vocals and the backup guitar player and singers but when mixed with the AUD it really helps fill out the sound.

There are a small minor hiccups during the show where there were a couple pops in the IEM feed and I tried to edit them out as much as possible but they are still there.

I hope people realize how hard it is to tape one let alone two sources for a show. It takes a lot of time and money to come home with a recording like this.

If I see any of my sources being sold I will stop torrenting them.

  3. Thanks as always BigO, and thank you to the taper!! I’m always interested in new shows, but usually they aren’t soundboard recordings, so this is a treat!

I am taking my sister to see them on June 10th at PHILIPS Arena here in Atlanta. This will make the perfect tailgate disc!

  8. I don’t understand all the technicality here. How is it a soundboard recording if you recorded it? Doesn’t the band have rights to this and have it guarded?

  9. the taper mixed an IEM feed with audience recording to produce this. as for rights and legalities you`ll have to ask darth.
What is an IEM (In Ear Monitors) recording?
In Ear Monitors are devices used by performers to hear a mix of microphones and/or instrument pickups that are on the stage. They are often custom fitted to the individuals ears and provide a high level of noise reduction from stage noise.

  10. But how did they rip the ear monitor system? Is it wireless Bluetooth like?
