Nuremberg 2013 [no label, 2CD]

Live at the Hirsch, Nuremberg, Germany; October 1, 2013. Very good matrix of audience and soundboard recording.

In November 2012 2013, Graham Parker reunited with his original band, the Rumour, and released their first album together in 31 years - Three Chords Good. The band also embarked on a tour to promote the album; and this is a Graham Parker solo gig in Nuremberg 2013.

Meanwhile, Graham Parker and the Rumour’s This Is Live (Blu-ray/DVD) was released on August 20, 2013. Directed by Judd Apatow, this show was held in September 2011 at the Belasco Theater in LA. Includes Sirens in the Night, an unreleased track from the Three Chords Good sessions. A part of this show also appeared in Apatow’s 2012 movie, This Is 40.

  2. That would be November 2012 (not November 2013) that Graham Parker and the Rumour got back together.

  7. HAve to admit that while Im a big Graham Parker fan - I was underwhelmed by 3 chords good and all the recordings I heard of the tour - I was unable to see them so maybe part of it is on me for not getting tickets - and Im carrying around a resentment about it -
Love this solo show - what I have heard so far….
