BRIAN WILSON AND JEFF BECK
Bethlehem 2013 [no label, 2CD]

Live at the Sands Event Center, Bethlehem, PA; October 6, 2013. Very good audience recording.

This is what John J Moser of The Morning Call wrote:

God only knows where popular music would be without Brian Wilson…

Never was it more evident for Wilson than at the end of his 19-song [sic], 65-minute set that opened the show. In a 25-minute run of Beach Boys hits, Wilson and his eight-man band - plus Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks - delivered the perfect pop template.

It started with “God Only Knows,” perhaps The Beach Boys’ best song. Dedicating the song to his late brother Carl, who originally sang lead vocals on it, Wilson rose to the occasion and sang the best of night - emotive and nuanced, with a sympathetic band and rich harmonies behind him. It got a standing ovation, to which Wilson responded, “That’s your song. That’s your song.”

But that was only the beginning. It was followed by a wonderful “Sloop John B,” on which Jardine shared vocals… again above swelling harmonies. Then the start of “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” drew a collective gasp from the audience… “Help Me Rhonda” had the crowd of nearly 2,000 – many of them older – up and dancing. Wilson sang “I Get Around” and “Good Vibrations” with a lot of gusto and emphasis, something that wasn’t always evident Sunday. And the set closed with “Fun, Fun, Fun,” which also had people dancing…

Never was Beck’s influence more evident than when, halfway through his 14-song, 70-minute [sic] instrumental set, he played Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing.” His hand was all over his guitar’s fret board, as the crowd cheered.

That started a run that, as in Wilson’s set, displayed Beck at his best: Clapton-esque with the melody-driven “You Never Know”; slower and sympathetic on “Where Were You”; and pure power and flashy speed on “Big Block.” Those songs contrasted the earlier part of Beck’s set, during which his strong four-person band frequently enhanced his playing, but also sometimes diminished as they buried it in sound, such as on the rich “Yemin”…

Wilson and his band joined Beck for an ending run of The Beach Boys’ “Barbara Ann” and “Surfin’ USA,” both fun audience sing-alongs, but with Beck adding intricate, screaming guitar. The encore was a largely instrumental cover of the Irish standard “Danny Boy,” highlighted by Beck’s playing, searing and sympathetic and Wilson, Jardine and Marks harmonizing on choral vocals.

God only knows where we’d be without their talents.

Thanks to Gummybear who recorded the show and shared it at The Traders’ Den. Gummybear also noted: “Brian came out during Jeff’s set for Our Prayer and Child Is Father of the Man, as well as the encores with Jeff.”

  8. Often am not much for aud shows but this one is note worthy. Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and Dave Marks are 3/5 of the ‘back in the day’ from Surfin Safari Beach Boys Days. After the 50th Ann tour good ole Mike Love (who owns the Beach Boys name) let them go…

Well these 3 can still crank it out and the harmonies are enough to make you get tears in your eyes that humans can come together in one voice.

A great great show and what a mix, their and Jeff Beck who has chops upon chops upon chops when it comes to his fretwork.

    A gotta have.

    Enjoy

  9. Correction to Jim W’s excellent post above: Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and Dave Marks are 3/6th of the original Beach Boys. The other 3/6ths, of course, were Mr. Love and the other Wilson brothers, Carl and Dennis. Marks story is very interesting. Marks is featured on the first 4 BB’s LP’s but left the band at the end of August, 1963 in a fight with Murray Wilson. Despite his physical departure, he remained an “official Beach Boy” for 4 more years until their contract was renegotiated in 1967. He returned in 1997, filling in for life-long friend Carl Wilson, who was dying of cancer and couldn’t tour. He did about 300 shows until his own health issues (Hep-C) forced him out again. He was originally left out of their 1988 Rock’n'Roll HOF induction, but that slight was rectified in 2007. He rejoined in 2011 for the 50th Anniversary Tour and is featured on “That’s Why God Made The Radio” and the official tour live recording. His book “The Lost Beach Boy” is worth finding and reading (I found it at my local library) if you are, like me, a guy who grew up with the band.

  12. Not sure why I had a brain delay on both Dennis Wilson and Carl Wilson. To my ears Carl had the a superb voice and Dennis became a heck of a drummer and later a good singer in his own right. Look for Dennis’s solo records, they are work having.

    Those harmonies are just sublime!!

  25. darthypoo, why did u put your billy joel link here when the original billy joel discussion was here: http://bigozine2.com/roio/?p=1603#comment-555931 ? u didnt want your one remaining fan to see you get embarrassed with three ginormous mistakes in the same thread? funny how he doesnt call himself “buttlick” or “donkey breath” this time. u think maybe hes tired of owning himself?

  30. If anyone wants to send me a really good sounding Beck Brian show I will send back 6 cdrs in return - your pick - click my name to see my site/music list. I saw the Beacon show this week, and sure didn’t need all those Pet Sounds; but “Surf’s Up” by Jeff made it all worthwhile. Jeff seemed tired, or maybe just letting his co-stars shine; or maybe I’ve seen him too many times and getting jaded. Day in A Life didn’t compare to many older versions by Jeff.

By betterthanu on Oct 19, 2013

  32. these idiots are still accusing me of posting under other names even tho ive told them countless times that i dont do that. sigh.

i posted the new info about billy joel because this page was new and it would get more visitors / readers and i didnt really think it mattered where the conversation had been previously. just like the bob dylan a-f reference topic has nothing to do with wilson / beck yet it appears on this page. i didnt bring it here. did i? no. in fact.. if one looks up one can actually find that u are the one who brings that topic from another page to this one. fascinating.

also fascinating is that your harassment from one page continues on every single page regardless of whether or not i have said anything to u or anyone else who feels obligated to harass me. in this case u 2x then slughead. then u again. then slughead again. all unprovoked. in fact.. every single time u have harassed me on this site.. it has been unprovoked. that applies to u dingleberry slughead and all the other idiots that have felt compelled to attack me. if u dont like something i post and feel the desire to correct it or comment on it thats one thing. and i welcome that. whole heartedly. believe me. especially if and when youre right. one or two of u have been one or two times. not every time for sure. altho u wouldnt know it by asking u or listening to any of u ramble on about how often u think u knew what u were talking about but thats another matter.
the fact is.. i do welcome your participation on this forum as if it was mine. i dont agree that the manner in which u do it is acceptable. the personal attacks and offensiveness in which u idiots do it in is ridiculous. not once have i ever initiated such attacks on any of u. i have admittedly responded in kind. but i have never once done anything to any of u first.
i know what im saying is falling on deaf ears/eyes but there are others who will read what im saying/typing and at least theyll know what im saying is true.
god knows ive tried to reason with u. that same god knows its futile.

rich - there should be a radio brdcst of a wilson set at least with beck or maybe very likely a small set of something along the lines of mountainstage or something similar to that like an abbreviated set on a tv show or radio show coming up towards the end of the tour. of course so far the only tv spot they did was -
brian wilson & jeff beck (with al jardine) - our prayer & danny boy (jimmy fallon ny 10-10-13)
too bad they didnt do a 2nd unaired song.
i have a couple of other shows they did on this tour but well u know….

By darth on Oct 19, 2013

  33. btw these arent all the dates as of the 11th i think they added a couple more but here are the ones they had scheduled as of the 11th -

10/11 – Wallingford, CT @ Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre
10/12 – Westbury, NY @ NYCB Theatre at Westbury
10/13 – Upper Darby, PA @ Tower Theatre
10/15 – New York, NY @ Beacon Theatre
10/16 – Montclair, NJ @ Roberts Wellmont Theater
10/18 – Las Vegas, NV @ The Pearl Theater
10/20 – Los Angeles, CA @ Greek Theatre
    10/22 – Oakland, CA @ Paramount Theatre
10/25 – Detroit, MI @ Fox Theatre Detroit
10/26 – Toronto, ON @ Sony Centre for the Performing Arts
10/27 – Akron, OH @ E.J. Thomas Hall – The University of Akron
10/29 – Chicago, IL @ House of Blues
10/30 – Milwaukee, MI @ Milwaukee Riverside Theatre

i heard they added another one in nj. but im not sure. ive been to a few of these venues including westbury a whole bunch of times and if i was going to pick any of these to see a show at.. that would be the one. the worst seat is like being in the 15th row.
ive never seen a show in vegas or toronto. the state on that last one could be a misprint. kinda funny. who knows? is there more than one milwaukee?

  34. Lies, falsehoods, fibs, fabrications.

“but i have never once done anything to any of u first.”
    You LIAR.

Just scroll up for proof that you lied.
None of your “attackers” commented here before you did.
You wrote this earlier today on this very thread:
“i recently learned from some schmuck on here that billy joel was my fave singer so i figured id share this with yall -”
Totally unprovoked, and on a different thread.

“if u dont like something i post and feel the desire to correct it or comment on it thats one thing. and i welcome that. whole heartedly. believe me.”

Stop the lies and bullshit rationalizations, darth. We all know how you behaved on the Depeche Mode, Steve Howe/Chuck Berry, and Billy Joel live album discussions. Refresh your memory here:

By Dingus on Oct 19, 2013

  35. when i said schmuck who did i attack?
yes i said some schmuck on here said that billy joel was my fave singer. i admit that i said this. so? who am i attacking? youre claiming something is unprovoked. what are u referring to? who is being provoked? are u imagining something? is it u? if its a different thread as u admit then u are admitting that i was the one provoked. no?

when u say im lying about never doing anything to u first.. show me how i did. i have never ever said a word to u before u typed to me. not even once. without exception. on the contrary.. u are the one who has been posting here 100% of the time for the sole purpose and again without exception to instigate harass provoke and incite. u have also claimed u will cease and desist. u have not stopped. u lie. u even lie about lying. then u claim your lying is my fault. somehow i made u lie. as if u wouldnt be doing it if it wasnt for me.

all your accusations in the world wont make them true or genuine. i dont lie. ever! theres no bullshit rationalizations. nothing wrong with my behavior on any page on this site including but not limited to the depeche mode page. i stand by what i said about chuck / howe. u may not have found the info i supplied. that doesnt mean what i offered isnt accurate. as i said he confirmed it himself. i know the information is accurate and correct. the billy joel info is also true. all one has to do is listen to the album. again all one has to do is listen to the depeche mode album as well. that is if anyone can bear it. it was utter garbage back then as it is now.
i didnt forget the discussion. i dont need my memory refreshed. just as i didnt need my memory refreshed on any of the other subjects u didnt let die for years.

  36. darth says: “these idiots are still accusing me of posting under other names even tho ive told them countless times that i dont do that. sigh.”

  38. Back on your meds, darth? You sound fairly rational. That won’t last long. Or are you trying to impress your one new supporter? I don’t keep a database of your inanities, and I’m not about to scroll through endless concerts to prove that you’re… wrong again, darth. Your lies and bullshit rationalizations are most recently proven when you still insist that you’re right about Depeche Mode, Steve Howe/Chuck Berry, and Billy Joel.

I’m supposed to show you that you attacked me first? I’ll gladly do that, as soon as you show the links I’ve already asked you for to prove what you say about Depeche Mode, Steve Howe/Chuck Berry, and Billy Joel. We both know you can’t do that. I asked you first, darth, and here’s my link to prove it:

All that said, I am distressed by the amount of personal sniping that has become all too prevalent on this site. You boys have to get a life. Please just keep it about the music, or keep it to yourselves. It is embarrassing.

By Josef (Czech republic) on Oct 21, 2013

  51. if u cant figure out that the person or these people using other peoples names isnt me when he/theyre using the name to attack/harass me then u need serious help. why would i say things that obviously were directly negative towards me? clearly theyre not me. i dont use other names. not made up ones and not other peoples names. there is no exception to this.

the posting about mick taylor and when he left the stones was a copy / paste job. i didnt type it. ive explained this more than once. i agree with everything it said also. it isnt incorrect. but i didnt type it. the facts in the posting were all accurate.
as were all the details in the other postings in the subjects about billy joel depeche mode and steve howe/chuck berry. as i said when i wrote those and afterwards.. u dont have to believe what i said or agree with the facts i presented. that doesnt mean what i said isnt true or accurate. i suggested listening to the recordings. judge for yourself. let others do the same. rehashing it repeatedly wont change things.

as far as u attacking me first.. u know what u do. u admitting it wont matter. others have seen u doing it for several years now. the facts wont suddenly become more true or false based on your admission or denial or my proof or willingness to find evidence on past pages on this site. anyone who has seen what u have been doing for several years now is witness to it.

i have never seen anyone prove that im a pathological liar. i dont lie. i have no reason to lie. i dont really need to prove things i say to u or anyone else here. i share stories with ppl here. if u wish to believe them thats fine. if u dont.. thats fine too. if i did choose to prove some of the things i have told u wouldnt have anything to say would u? altho i have been accused of faking the pic of me and gene simmons since its the only pic of me with anyone i happen to have scanned online. but ppl are going to be stupid arent they? lol.

i cant tell when its the real people posting and when it isnt unless i know its someone who is normally on my side who suddenly turns. when someone seems to be switch hitting it seems to me that their name is being hijacked. i think the moderator should be able to tell when this is the case and should remove those postings.

i dont deliberately make mistakes. ever. i didnt see anyone say anything about what i said about radio citys capacity. i maintain that it is 6270. i know they redid some of the lower level a few yrs ago but i doubt that it is much different than the # i just gave by more than a few. it was for many decades exactly that #. if its slightly different now fine. thats what it was til a few yrs ago. its not that far off. its still the largest theater on earth. period.

its not bald faced liar.. its bold faced liar. and i didnt attack anyone unprovoked. i dont care if u think i earned your lifelong scorn. u had long prior to that earned mine. u know how and why. i didnt attack any war vets. i expressed my opinion of how they work. i stand by it. they do what theyre told. theyre soldiers. they are ordered to do this or that and they do as theyre told. they follow orders. they fight. they kill etc. thats their job. its what theyre paid to do. its what theyre trained to do. nothing more. nothing less. no one was attacked. no one attacked anyone. u chose to see what u wanted to see. u would have seen something negative in anything i said simply because it was me saying it. i tried to explain it repeatedly at the time but u wouldnt pay attn just as u arent paying attention now. youre a very simple minded moron. u only see things your way and u refuse to see anything other than how u wanna see things. u have tunnel vision. i once had a higher opinion of u but i quickly learned better. i jumped too quickly to form my original opinion of u and thankfully i figured u out before trusting u too far. u are an opportunist. u take advantage of people. im sorry for what has gone wrong in your life. u know what im talking about but karma is a bitch. what comes around goes around. stop fucking people around and life will stop messing with u. i know.. i know.. u wont keep arguing with me and going round and round with me.. thats what u said. i can see how u keep your word. u lie so much u cant even remember things u said. fuck u! dont hand me that shit about anyone related to u who defended my freedom either. while i respect military for the most part.. i dont respect u. u lost all my respect when u judged me prematurely and without merit. u are a bandwagon jumper. u are out there to be friends with the majority. u know what u are. u should be ashamed and embarrassed of what u have become. if i was related to u in any way.. and that includes even your friend.. id be ashamed and embarrassed of u.

innocent - i dont know whose side u are on or when your postings are genuine. i dont know if u are real or fake. but thank u.

  54. hey darth how do we know this is you
you didn`t post any tv listings so it seems this is from somene else

By blue moon on Oct 22, 2013

  55. reading one of these full page ads from darth is hilarious. he is more scatterbrained than daffy duck

By nubious on Oct 22, 2013

  56. not all my postings have tv listings in them. when i do mention tv appearances it is for people who care about performances by musicians. if u didnt know someone u liked was going to be on tv and i mentioned it wouldnt u be grateful? imagine that someone else out there might like a band or artist and appreciated the heads up.

By darth on Oct 22, 2013

  57. i didnt post any ads. do u know what an ad is? its short for advertisement. im not selling anything.

By darth on Oct 22, 2013

  61. darth, as I said above… “You sound fairly rational. That won’t last long.” Looks like I’m right again.

“rehashing it repeatedly wont change things.” Said the carbon blob who chose to rehash it.
Yes, it won’t change. You’ll still be wrong again, darth.

    I didn’t read any farther.

  62. good grief darth are you really this needy for attention?

  63. …”i think the moderator should be able to tell when this is the case and should remove those postings…”

most of us wish the mod would remove ALL of yours…

By speedboy on Oct 22, 2013

  64. i dont post every show. i only post the shows with music performances that are worth catching. u dont need to look at my postings if u dont like what i post. there are far worse postings here that u dont seem to be complaining about. u are being selective. im not enjoying your postings. why is it ok for u to post things i dont like? my postings are about music. yours arent.

im not the one rehashing things. im responding to u since u are the one rehashing things. i dont keep bringing up things like steve howe/chuck berry and depeche mode and billy joel. u do. i am the one who is reminding u that each time u bring these ppl / subjects up that theyve been dealt with and that theyre done. u claiming im wrong doesnt make it so.

    speed - are u?
what u wish the moderator would remove is very different from what he should be able to tell is a reason to remove. like when someone is using someone elses id. that is cause for removal. since i dont do that.. my postings are acceptable. u dont seem able to comprehend the point here. why am i not surprised?

By darth on Oct 22, 2013

  65. darth, for god’s sake: shut the fuck up!

By Constructive Criticism and Friendly Advice on Oct 22, 2013

  66. “u claiming im wrong doesnt make it so.”

I don’t claim that you’re wrong, I provide links to credible web sites to PROVE that you’re wrong. That makes it so.

By Dingus on Oct 22, 2013

  67. the other postings in the subjects about billy joel depeche mode and steve howe/chuck berry. as i said when i wrote those and afterwards.. u dont have to believe what i said or agree with the facts i presented. that doesnt mean what i said isnt true or accurate.

yes it does, you were wrong on all acounts about what you wrote about these artists , oh and you forgot your bobby whitlock goof as well dummy.

By speedboy on Oct 22, 2013

  68. Maybe he’ll blame it on his keyboard, like he did with his Mick Taylor mistake. He claims that one was a copy & paste, but it wasn’t, there’s no web site that would have made a mistake like that. He can’t provide a link to the site because it doesn’t exist. He didn’t say a thing about it when I first corrected him. It’s a deliberate mistake he threw out because he thinks his “harassers” are spending hours of time searching online to prove him wrong. He’s a sociopath. What he does for attention is sad and pathetic, it’s barely funny anymore.

By Dingus on Oct 22, 2013

  69. wtf?? is darth blaming me for his mistakes?? wtf darth? wtf?? what did i do to u except sit there and take it when you pounded on me, trying to bs your way around so many many mistakes and lies! and all those times you were shouting every word u typed to your harassers, spittle flying all over me! this is the thanks i get?? screw u darth! screwwwww uuuuuu !!!!!

By darths keyboard on Oct 23, 2013

  70. Chill out darths keyboard, it was my mistake with the copy and paste thing.

By darths mouse on Oct 23, 2013

  72. good grief darth are you really this needy for attention?”

good grief speed are you as crippled as your lame posts? try again…..

By dropkick sarge on Oct 23, 2013

  73. yes it does, you were wrong on all acounts about what you wrote about these artists , oh and you forgot your bobby whitlock goof as well dummy.

    wait a minute.i apologize….i don’t know what i’m talking about,heh heh (cringe)

By dropkick sarge on Oct 23, 2013

  74. first of all. there was no request for a link to the site about the mick taylor paragraph. i could have easily given it. it was a copy and paste. if u look at the entire thing it had caps and punctuation etc. clearly i dont use that. obviously it wasnt my words. and it was all accurate and correct. i dont know what the problem u had with it was.

as for bobby whitlock i didnt see anyone correct that info. if there was someone who did.. what was the correction?

i didnt claim that my keyboard did anything. i dont have any idea what the hell u are talking about. i didnt make any mick taylor mistake.
if u corrected something in one of my postings about taylor.. u were wrong. ive repeatedly told u that i dont make deliberate mistakes.

i believe the article that u are referring to when u say i made it up and i didnt copy and paste it with regards to the mick taylor thing and the stones etc etc.. is as follows -

    http://ultimateclassicrock.com/mick-taylor-ronnie-wood-bluesfest/

By darth on Oct 23, 2013

  75. “as for bobby whitlock i didnt see anyone correct that info.”

Two people corrected your mistake. The singer on that specific track was Jim Gordon, not Bobby Whitlock.

By Dingus on Oct 23, 2013

  76. “i dont know what the problem u had with it was.”

You said Mick Taylor left the Stones after Goat’s Head Soup. I corrected you. A link to prove that you’re right doesn’t exist, never will.

By Dingus on Oct 23, 2013

  77. “as for bobby whitlock i didnt see anyone correct that info.”

    more lies.

By sluggo on Oct 23, 2013

  78. He’ll probably say he didn’t go back to that concert thread, that’s why he didn’t see the corrections….

or else it’s just another deliberate mistake.

By Dingus on Oct 23, 2013

  79. here you go Darth. need more proof?

classe - thats bobby whitlock. its an outtake from the 2nd album which never came to be. it didnt even make it to the crossroads box.

By darth on Oct 20, 2013

classe, actually it is the drummer Jim Gordon and one of his demos where he is singing and playing acoustic guitar.
Till I see you again is also him and another one of his demos.
pay no attention to the post from darth he is constantly rewriting rock and roll history.

By sluggo on Oct 20, 2013

Classe, that’s Jim Gordon on vocal. Bobby Whitlock’s voice is much deeper.

According to WinwoodFans: “Hard To Find A Friend”: an outtake (circa 9/71, Island studios, London) from the Low Spark Of High-Heeled Boys album, written and sung by Jim Gordon. This song and at least one more Gordon composition (”Molly”) were written and recorded originally (in demo form) during the 5/70 Olympic Studios sessions for Derek and the Domino’s second (unreleased) album. Although Rolling Stone(10/14/71) reported some of the recording session for the song, it is unclear whether Traffic’s version was ever completed. The instrumental track is listed as : “violin, harpsichord, piano, bass, two acoustic guitars, electric guitar and two voices”. While this might sound like a finished track, Gordon is described as punching out the recording light while attempting a lead vocal - so it may have ended there. The Domino’s version is rather breezy, much more in a demo form; two acoustic guitars, bass, double tracked vocals, and Gordon’s distinctive rolling drum patterns - but the lyrics seem complete, and give the only clue to what the words may be to a unreleased Traffic song”

  80. darth, here’s another.

“i didnt make any mick taylor mistake.
if u corrected something in one of my postings about taylor.. u were wrong.”

this weekend evidently was the 40th anniversary of goats head soup’s release which i would guess if im not mistaken is micks final recordings with the stones.

Looks like you lied again, darth. It only took me five minutes to prove it.

By Dingus on Oct 23, 2013

  81. darth, your lies/mistakes/blunders/whatever you want to call them have been attended to.

Remember when you said if you made a mistake, you’ll admit it? Admit away.

By Dingus on Oct 24, 2013

  82. if i dont reply then im not wrong and nobody else saw it…. is that how it works?

By silent darth on Oct 24, 2013

  83. no actually u were claiming that my mistake had to do with the copy and paste recently about the ron wood mick taylor performance coming up in a couple of weeks in england. i offered up (well the article did) some history about mick leaving and when etc. u attempted to correct the pasted info and u told me i was wrong about what i had pasted. i repeatedly told u that it wasnt my info and that i stood by the info any way because it was accurate. u insisted repeatedly that i didnt get the info from any site and that i did not copy and paste it etc etc.
this went on for weeks. why.. i dont know. youre still bringing it up. sooo what i did since u said i cant find any such site etc.. i figured ok this is recent enough that i can easily find that link and i might as well show it to u. i knew that it wouldnt shut u up because u would only find something else to say as u did. in this case u chose to say that it wasnt that item u were talking about it was something else. but that isnt true since its been going on for several weeks now since i mentioned the ron wood mick taylor performance coming up and thats the only mick taylor thing that has been brought up lately. what youre doing now is stretching because u were proven wrong about how there is in fact a site backing up what i pasted here when u said i couldnt do that. so now u are back peddling.
i did say ‘if im not mistaken’. i had forgotten about ‘its only rnr’ since a lot of taylors parts were wiped during the recording session for that album and i guess that stuck in my craw a lot and i tend to forget that hes on that album. yes hes on 7 of the 10 songs on there. i never denied this. but i didnt see anyone make this correction til now.
however. and i repeat this.. the subject wasnt that mick taylor discussion til now. the discussion was the more recent taylor wood topic where i copied and pasted an article that u claimed didnt exist. i proved it did if u scroll up there is a link. click the fucking link u stupid prick. and admit u were wrong.

By darth on Oct 24, 2013

  84. oh its funny how no on answered the guy who asked about gordon til i did. then in an effort to prove me wrong theyll come out of the woodwork. i might as well just say its daffy duck to get them to do the work. i looked at the outtakes on the box set recordings from 71. saw 2ndary vocals listed for only whitlock and assumed the rest. amazing how ppl will put extraordinary effort to prove me wrong about something rather than to help someone else asking for help in the first place. thats pathetic. i wasnt that concerned with who sang on that song but i appreciate the correction.

By darth on Oct 24, 2013

  85. darth, here’s your entire comment:
“this weekend evidently was the 40th anniversary of goats head soup’s release which i would guess if im not mistaken is micks final recordings with the stones.”

I corrected your mistake in the very next comment. This link proves it. Click it, you disoriented, profane hobgoblin: http://bigozine2.com/roio/?p=1557#comments

Just scroll up for this lie:
“i didnt make any mick taylor mistake.

darth, the only one wrong here is U. Again.

By Dingus on Oct 24, 2013

u ASSumed? see what happens when u ASSume?

“amazing how ppl will put extraordinary effort to prove me wrong”
it usually only takes a few scant minutes to do a quick search. it only seems extraordinary because u make sooo many mistakes.

    “i appreciate the correction.”
oh im sure u do. and all the others too. no doubt.

  87. it must be hell to live in darth land where you spend most of your day trying to put a spin on your own lies.
its more than obvious guys that we are dealing with a very twisted mind here who will think nothing of typing a page length rant to obfuscate a lie when proof of truth stares him right in the face.
I don`t think i have ever known such a truth twisting liar in my entire life. incredible.

By sluggo on Oct 24, 2013

  88. its funny how no on answered the guy who asked about gordon til i did.

some of us aren`t glued here 24/7 , and once again you are wrong because i replied as soon as i saw the question which coincidentally was right after your wrong answer .
bobby whitlock, cripes , you ASSumed ?

    what a load.

By sluggo on Oct 24, 2013

  89. Same with me. I saw the question, downloaded the track, and realized immediately it wasn’t Whitlock or Clapton. A Google search brought up the article I quoted in the first page, and sluggo had already answered the gentleman before I could post my comment.

“i appreciate the correction.” Another lie.

By Dingus on Oct 24, 2013

  90. hysterical. they dont like that ill spend a portion of a page responding to their attacks harassment and provocations.. but its perfectly acceptable as far as theyre concerned to spend 10-20x more than that initiating all that in the first place. thats mind boggling. irony at its finest.
