NEIL YOUNG
Fourth Night At Carnegie 2014 [no label, 2CD]

Live at the Carnegie Hall, New York City, NY; January 10, 2014. Good to very good audience recording.

Thanks to petercul who recorded the show and shared the tracks at Dime.

petercul noted:

This set was recorded full econo-mode, straight to my Edirol R-09’s built in mics. The copied from SD card to my Mac and cut into tracks and exported to FLAC with Amadeus Pro. Fingerprints created with xACT; Torrent file and upload facilitated with Transmit.

This is the last night of Neil’s amazing four-night run at Carnegie Hall. Another great night with Neil. This was an amazing week and I feel very lucky to have gotten to see each show of this run. Neil’s really got it.

Editor’s note: Unfortunately, the volume on the source is slightly on the low side so we have taken the liberty of increasing the volume (with Audacity) on the tracks. Thanks for tolerating any distortion we might have inadvertently added.

Front cover by frikiepalo (modified slightly here) - Thanks!

  13. Help please — Are the links at the January 13 update a combination of Jan 6 and Jan 10 shows? The tracks I’ve heard so far are clear recordings albeit a bit distant and with some localized crowd noise. Thanks for the great music!

  14. Hello Jania

These are different recordings of the same show; taped by different people using different equipment. Enjoy!

  15. Same here, JB and Eric - us Mainers must have a connection with the Canadian. :-)
