NEIL YOUNG
Farm Aid 2014 [no label, 1CD]

Live at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre, Raleigh, NC; September 13, 2014. Excellent webcast.

“We’ve been doing Farm Aid for 29 years,” Neil Young said, stalking around the stage with a microphone. “Seems like 29,000 years sometimes. We love Farm Aid, but not that we have to do this.” Young concluded by vowing that Farm Aid’s artists stand with farmers. “We will be here till hell freezes over,” Young declared to cheers from the crowd.

As if the tracks had a chance to! Heck, as far as I can tell, Heart of Gold is still echoing in the amphitheatre!

  6. “I wanna live, I wanna give…”

In 2 weeks or so I might find out if I’ll live. They’re trying to find a general surgeon that’s got experience making big holes, to go after the malignant melanoma that went deep into my body from my neck. If not found in 2 weeks, it may become moot. It’s about 3 inches wide that they have to cut out, but they don’t know how deep. They told me the biopsy results 3 days ago. Talk about rockin’ in my world…

  12. Thanks, MrBill and Jania. They’ve already lined up the plastic surgeon to cover up the holes. They found a surgeon to make the holes - I see him 9/29.
