Seattle 1979 [A DoinkerTape, 1CD]

Live at the Paramount NW Theatre, Seattle, WA; June 24, 1979. Very good FM broadcast.

Thanks to Bill B who recorded the show; and to Doinker for sharing it at Dime in 2009.

Doinker noted:

A blistering performance with great sound by one of R&B’s greats (Bill B tape). It’ll knock your head off. It was said that “Squeezing Out Sparks” required your attention when listening to it, that it made you listen. This show, on the other hand, takes that little noggin of yours and clamps it in a vise (with the jaw discreetly dropped open) for 80 minutes. Sort of like a book you can’t put down, why would you be doing anything else. You can’t anyway, so why bother?

Thanks also to pdiamond for the artwork.
