Return To The Century [Shout To The Top STTP125, 1CD]

Live at the Century Plaza, Los Angeles, CA; October 14, 1978. Very good mono soundboard. (Slight hiss, the right channel is stronger than the left).

Thanks to takamasa1963 for sharing show at Dime.

takamasa1963 noted:

This is a relatively short show that Elton performed at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. It is one of the few performances that he did in 1978. It was for MCA record executives and employees to debut the new A Single Man album. As such it contains several songs from A Single Man that he did not often perform, and lots of clowning around with the crowd.

  1. One Response to “ELTON JOHN - LOS ANGELES 1978”

  2. Your Song is sadly cut right at the apex, chopped to near the end.

What an intimate, funny, unusual snapshot of a great artist. A superstar in nightclub mode.
