San Francisco 2005 [no label, 2CD]

Live at Slim’s, San Francisco, CA; September 30, 2005. Very good soundboard.

Thanks to the person who shared this on the net in 2006.

Uploader’s notes:

It’s said to be one of the best shows, perhaps the best, he ever did. He was backed on various songs by Regina and Ann Mccrary, who also backed him on his album Universal United House Of Prayer. Emmylou Harris and Jim Lauderdale also appeared on stage for a few songs. The last track of Disc 2 (A Showman’s Life, with Jim Lauderdale) had too much diginoise and is not included.

  3. wonder why the last song is missing. (usually these are omitted on ROIO when they have an official release elsewhere…)

anyway, love the Buddy, and I don’t mind Julie one bit.

  5. I saw Julie Miller play at Glen Ellen Regional Park at SuperFest4 in San Bernardino County on Aug 25th 1990. This is when she was a young solo Christian artist with a couple albums, before performing with Buddy Miller. I liked her solo work, and the 25,000 liked her as well. She tended to have a little more grit in her singing, which was welcomed. Somehow an audience recording was made…
