THE HEARTBREAKERS
L.A.M.F. 40th Anniversary Show
New York 2017 [no label, 1CD]

Live at The Bowery Electric, New York, NY; November 29, 2017 (early show). Very good audience recording.

An all-star show to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of the Heartbreakers’ lone LP, L.A.M.F. The old punks on the stage put on a fun and surprisingly tight gig, running through all of the LP plus a few Johnny Thunders classics. Matlock and Burke are a rock solid rhythm section and Ness and Lure still have plenty of swagger and style. They all shared vocals. - huskerdu1972

  3. Thanks big o, L.A.M.F. is one of my all time favorites! Terry, You’re right but not in the way you think - would way rather hear johnny thunders, jerry Nolan and the rest of the boys circa 1977, but this will do fine for 2017 and hey, at least walter lure is playing.
