BBC Radio 2 Studio, London, UK; December 19, 2017. Very good BBC Radio 2 FM broadcast.

Now a Christmas tradition, the one and only Rick Wakeman swooshes into the Drivetime studio, donning his Christmas cape, to sit down at the Elton John piano to play some favourite tunes, as Rick-quested by Drivetime listeners!

  2. Has Rick Wakeman got another divorce to pay for? Talk about prostituting one’s talents!

By Andrew Gaines on Dec 24, 2017

  3. Thanks for the very merry Wakeman Xmas tracks big o. Andrew try not to be a twat during the Christmas holiday you bloody wanker.

By Neve on Dec 25, 2017

  4. This is a season meant for light-hearted living, especially for families. For the adults, it is meant for contemplation and memories of growing up, hopefully of happy times bonding with friends and family. Merry Christmas to all.

  5. Thanks very much, happy holidays

  6. Rick is as much a part of Christmas here in the UK as the Queen’s speech. He is taking his Grumpy Old Christmas show on tour this month and it promises to be as entertaining, humorous and enlightening as his previous solo tours recently. Gone are the spectaculars on ice, the dry ice, the garish capes and the ridiculous synthesiser solos. These days Rick just sits at a grand piano, plays his own and seasonal music and tells a few tall tales. Prostituting his talents? No, just being an entertainer

  7. Another geezer show from another over the hill fossil. Par for the. course here .

  8. I’m sure another Dylan show from 2019 is coming next Ugh.

By Pat Grooms on Dec 1, 2019

  9. Rick Wakeman has a prick the size of a peanut . Very disappointing to say the least. He was certainly no Huey Lewis of Gene Simmons to be sure .

By Pam Des Barris on Dec 1, 2019

  10. Couldn’t feel a thing with him . Not even a tickle . Thank god I brought my dildo. I ended up having to get myself off .

By Pam Des Barris on Dec 1, 2019

  11. Thank you for the Rick Wakeman Xmas!!!

By Frank on Dec 4, 2019

  12. Pam, dear Pam that’s because by then your snatch was like a rain barrel. Have you seen my wife? Why would I go out for a dropped kebab on the sidewalk when I have prime steak at home?
Dumb pox riddled slut, can’t even spell her own name, ha ha ha ha . .

By Rick (the Pipe Layer) on Dec 5, 2019

  13. Pat Grooms- Do you expect the whole world to revolve around your likes and dislikes? If you don’t like 2019 Dylan you don’t have to listen. If you don’t like any artists over 30 there are plenty from this generation to choose from. I’d rather hear raspy, phlegmy Dylan than most of the modern music being put out today.

By Mark on Dec 5, 2019

  14. I don’t like modern so called music either. Like most I prefer 60’s and 70’s Dylan and musicians in their primes . I don’t like over the hill fossils pretending to be 23. I liked Wakeman when he was with Yes in the 1970’s
