Thanks to robbiem for sharing the tracks at Dime.

robbiem noted:

The problem with doing these for David Bromberg is that many of his officially-released albums were filled with both studio and live cuts. So, where possible, I’ve tried to get versions of those live tracks outside the time of the initial release. Many thanks and much appreciation for all the tapers, masterers and seeders for making this sort of thing possible.

Also, thanks to David Saddler (front cover picture); and Jim McGuire (back cover picture).

By DD on May 4, 2021

  13. In the late 70s or early 80s, Bob Dylan attended the first two nights of Bromberg’s shows at the Beacon. Both nights, he requested “Delia,” but Bromberg didn’t play it. On the third night, when Dylan wasn’t there, he played it. Dylan got the last laugh by swiping a lot of Bromberg’s arrangement when he finally recorded it. Thanks for these recordings, Big O.

  21. On the Demon in Disguise album, the studio tracks Demon in Disguise and Sharon have Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh and Bill Kreutzman of the Grateful Dead in the band. They also played on 4 songs on David Bromberg’s “Wanted Dead or Alive” album.

By Stephen Clayton on May 5, 2021

  22. When you think jew , think Epstein, Weinstein, Allen , Dershowitz, Madoff and Soros .

You mean Woody Allen and George Soros? Neither are
Jewish, both are atheists. Soros said the happiest time of his life was ratting out Jews to the Nazis when he was a kid.

When you think “Jew” think Ivanka Trump, her husband,Jared Kushner, and their kids.

By John on May 5, 2021

  23. Both Allen and Soros are Jewish by race not practicing religion. The great irony of the Jewish diaspora is they cannot escape their roots and origins by practising atheism. Born a Jew always a Jew. The people who called out the English Labour leader on alleged anti-semitism were not all practicing Jews but born into pro-Israeli Zionism by the vehement hatred of the Palestinian Arabs in Gaza and the West Bank. Anyone seen as pro-Palestine therefore is targeted as ant-Semitic. Kushner his wife and his spawn are turncoat for cash democrats who can’t lie straight in bed and are not to be trusted with anything even faintly political as all are firmly pro-Trump, Netanyahu and Israel.

By Allan Stewart Konigsberg on May 5, 2021

  24. Allan, you are correct.once a jew, always a jew..You are what you were born.similer to boys who now say they are girls, and vice versa.trying to compete against biological females in sports.

By HHH on May 5, 2021

  25. your last name also sounds jewish

By HHH on May 5, 2021

  26. Re Eric’s story about Dylan and “Delia”. Bromberg has a career long policy that he does not play requests. The way to make sure he omits a song from a show is to call out its name. That’s just his quirk. On the other hand, Bromberg’s lead guitar parts were the best thing on Dylan’s “Self Portrait” album and Bromberg has contributed to other Dylan recordings as well.
