MICKEY GILLEY R.I.P. 1936 - 2022
Mickey Gilley, the country music star whose Texas nightclub served as the inspiration for the 1980 film Urban Cowboy, died on May 7, 2022 in Branson, Mo. His death was confirmed to NPR by his publicist Zach Farnum. “Gilley was 86 and had just come off of the road, his favorite place, having played ten shows in April,” according to Farnum’s statement. “He passed peacefully with his family and close friends by his side.” No cause of death was given.
Across his career as a singer, Gilley garnered 17 No. 1 singles between the late 1960s and 1980s, including his 1974 cover of “Room Full of Roses.” His soulful renditions of early rock and roll hits and soul songs cemented him as a country artist who was able to cross genres. - npr.org

Mickey was a legend, his “Don’t The Girls Get Prettier” speaks to every man’s heart who’s ever been just lookin’ for some lovin’ as the night wears on.
A long list of great artists graced the stage at Gilley’s, and every artist was honored to play there.

Hey Anti , Triple h , don’t know how the fuck I missed that one . So many baseball greats died in 2020 and 21 Allen fell through the cracks
By Derrick on May 25, 2022
Anti , I remember Dic when he was Richie Allen wit the Phillies in the 60s. Powerful hitter , when he hit the ball it went deep. The only man ever to hit the ball out of old Connie Mack stadium in Philadelphia, he and Willie Stargell the only ones to go upper deck in oldforbes field in Pittsburgh. The dude was black but wasn’t no coon .like all the black athletes in the 60s and 70s he had class . None of that. Monkey shit like todays coons wit tattoos etc.no rap shit back then
By Derrick on May 25, 2022
My tongue licked Allen’s crack, hole, and fell into his taint.
He had a large, firm ass that I enjoyed licking and eating out.
I ran when he said he wanted me to put my balls on a batting tee and hit them out of the park
By Derrick on May 25, 2022
Derrick you’re so fucking stupid you don’t remember that Allen used to scratch messages with his spikes in the dirt by first base because he hated the racists in Philly and white management.
