PHIL COLLINS
London 2002 [no label, 1CD]
Westwood One Superstar Concert Series Show #08-23. Live at The Scala Theatre, London, UK; November 6, 2002. Very good pre-FM. Original Airdate: Weekend of 7/8 June 2008.
Thanks to original uploader BPDNEDCID; and to ledwhofloyd for sharing the show at Dime.
BPDNEDCID noted:
Another pre-FM silver CD, another Ebay purchase, another Freeleech Torrent for everyone here (Genesis movement) to enjoy. This is a portion of the La Scala show from November 2002, and it’s fantastic.
Additional Notes (November 2022):
The original torrent from BPDNEDCID had the files essentially duplicated as untracked and tracked files. All the commercials were included. The tracked files were individually gain normalized by different amounts to bring them all to 0 dB. This does not preserve the relative dynamics between the different tracks. The untracked files had the authentic dynamics.
I used foobar2000 to generate a cue sheet that copied BPDNEDCID’s tracked audio. Then I split the untracked files using that cue sheet, which makes the tracking of these identical to BPDNEDCID’s. I removed the commercials but kept the segment breaks. No changes to the audio.
Note that this source is missing I Can’t Stop Loving You and You Can’t Hurry Love, which were apparently on a different broadcast by the BBC.
