The surprise success of the 1972 album Jazz at Santa Monica Civic ‘72 led [her manager] Norman Granz to found Pablo Records, his first record label since the sale of Verve. Fitzgerald recorded some 20 albums for the label. Ella In London recorded live in 1974 with pianist Tommy Flanagan, guitarist Joe Pass, bassist Keter Betts and drummer Bobby Durham, was considered by many to be some of her best work. The following year she again performed with Joe Pass on German television station NDR in Hamburg. Her years with Pablo Records also documented the decline in her voice. “She frequently used shorter, stabbing phrases, and her voice was harder, with a wider vibrato”, one biographer wrote. Plagued by health problems, Fitzgerald made her last recording in 1991 and her last public performances in 1993. - wikipedia

  8. Fanxt for this Ella BigO. I first saw her on a US Army base in England in 1949. And remember her Memorex commercials, they were fantastic weren’t they. I’ve also got an Italian 25 CD box set of Ella outtakes, Prince and Jimi Hendrix play on some of them uncredited. Best that Darth - Swappers

  9. Hey Jocko P, rumors recently circulating that it is your very own self who keeps starting these rumors. We all know you are an attention seeking numbnut - so stopping ask stooopid questions!

  10. She never farted in my face, no chicks will

A big nasty wet one after she ate bbq with greens or a bean burrito with hot sauce would have been so nice

    I can almost taste it!

  11. I had a few comments removed! That proves that bigo has the ability to delete comments… if they want to.

But they don’t bother to do delete any of the other garbage hate speech racist porn filth comments that he and his idiot friends post…

It’s easy, but they don’t bother to do it. Apparently they haven’t figured out that removing a few comments every day will increase the donations they keep asking for.

It won’t happen quickly, mainly because they allowed the trolls to post here for several years now.

Do us all a favor, bigo, and clean it up here. Make it a good site to go to again.
