CANNONBALL ADDERLEY QUINTET
Berlin 1972 [no label, 1CD]

Live at the Philharmonie, West Berlin, Germany; November 2, 1972. Excellent FM stereo. Speed corrected.

In April this year, we shared the November 4 show in Austria. Here is the West Berlin show two days earlier.

Thanks to the person who shared the tracks in 2005. CD notes: “George Duke adds an incredible element to this band, especially on the first tune which he composed, Black Messiah. He went on to play with Zappa after he left this band. Quite a range of music.”

Picture by Pieter Boersma, posted on the net. Thanks!
