San Francisco 1982 - Late Show [no label, 2CD]

Live at The Old Waldorf, San Francisco, CA; December 10, 1982. Very good to excellent soundboard.

Thanks to Wharfratpat who recently shared both the Early and Late Shows at Lossless Legs.

Wharfratpat added:

This is the first time that these shows have been torrented from a (soundboard cassette) master source and, as you might expect, it all sounds much better than the previous versions. There is a short seamless patch from an alternate first generation soundboard source at the beginning of Blindman and for the stage talk before that song starts.

This show features many guests including Country Joe McDonald, Mickey Hart, Sam Andrew, Righteous Raoul, Nicky Hopkins, Merl Saunders, David Nelson, Harold Aceves and Mike Wilhelm… And finally - special thanks to John Cipollina (RIP) who helped to make this master recording possible!

It wasn’t meant to be derogatory.

  6. i didnt get it either. i thought he was being nasty too.
be careful people. the typed word is easy to misconstrue. always re-read what u typed after u type it and consider how it may be interpreted by others just in case.

  8. Yes, many times the humor in my head does not translate to the printed page. But somehow wallowing in piss did not sound like good fun. I was reminded of Sluggo’s polite comment that he didn’t care for Springsteen but was happy for the fans getting what they want- only to see him slammed by the Springsteen fans for hating their idol. BigO offers a variety to please it’s diverse audience. But we can’t expect everyone to like everything. We all share a love of music and shouldn’t put others down just because their taste in music is crap.
