Nirvana - Roma, 1994: SBD#1 (no label 1CD zomb 40077) live at Palaghiaccio, Marino, Italy, February 22, 1994. This is recorded off the radio but Nirvana fans recognise this as "SBD #1". Notes for SBD #1:Post-FM soundboard source. In October 2005 a new FM>DAT(2)>FLAC version was circulated replacing all other FM>DAT(x) sources. NOTE: This source is available in inferior quality on a plethora of bootlegs. The best sounding bootleg is 'XXII II MCMXCIV' which is of similar quality to the FM>DAT(2)>FLAC version and is actually preferred by some audiophiles. Lineup: Kurt Cobain - vocals, guitar, Krist Novoselic - bass, Dave Grohl - drums, Pat Smear - guitar and Lori Goldston - cello. Ex FM stereo. TT: 77:21m. Transferred by Kris Sproul. DATA FILE ONLY No to MP3.

Nirvana - Roma, 1994: JWB REMASTER of SBD#1 (no label 1CD zomb 37399) live at Palaghiaccio, Marino, Italy, February 22, 1994. The source is the famous bootleg "XXII II MCMXCIV" CD (SBD#1). This is the only available complete "In Utero" soundboard. It was broadcast on Italian radio. There is a DAT recording available that was made from the radio broadcast, but I like the sound of the bootleg CD better. Some DJ banter has been cleverly edited out by the Italian bootleggers. I swapped the stereo image so that Kurt is on the right and Pat is on the left, like on the official live releases. Lineup: Kurt Cobain - vocals, guitar, Krist Novoselic - bass, Dave Grohl - drums, Pat Smear - guitar and Lori Goldston - cello. Ex FM stereo. TT: 75:47m. Extracted & Remastered by JWB. DATA FILE ONLY No to MP3.

Nirvana - Roma, 1994: LDB Master Series #326 aka Sell This One And Die (no label 1CD tradersden 100004) live at Palaghiaccio, Marino, Italy, February 22, 1994. RAI RadioUno live broadcast. "Uncirculated master of mine from one of the last shows of Nirvana. I recorded this straight from the radio live, then I like the show that I managed to have a ticket for the following show in Milano (my hometown). Back in the mid 90´s, RAI used to broadcast quite a lot of live acts during the program called "Planet Rock". And in order to record shows without the hassle of tape flip, I used a JVC stereo video recorder, which ensured me at least two straight hours without pause. That is why you will not hear any tape flip but rather a continous flow of music. In transferring this one I did not edit anything or worked on the equalization. This is exactly what was recorded... There must be tons of sources for this show but this source has something I like and may be a nice addition to all serious Nirvana collectors. As the band says during the show, bootleggers are a bunch of pedo*****s. As the title says, may you die if you sell for your own profit what I have shared free of charge." - LDB

"Recorded this show from the "Saturday Night at the Concerts Hour" on the mighty met (KMET-FM Los Angeles) back in 1974. My tape had some damage from poor reception so I looked around and found this version from the original KSAN-FM radio broadcast which has excellent sound quality. Downloaded this in 2012 and was disappointed by a couple gaps during the broadcast and a multitude of loud ticks, pops, dropouts and "flat spots". On top of this the amplitude started out fine but soon changes and the right channel drops and creates an un-balanced soundstage. This is a cleaned up version with most of those defects repaired." Nilsson - Son Of Drac [no label 1CD demonoid 1462464] "When the film Son of Dracula flopped badly after its premiere, Ringo concocted a strange idea: have his friend Graham Chapman (and Chapman's writing partner Douglas Adams) write an entirely new script for the film, and then re-dub the soundtrack with the new script! And so, sometime in 1974 or 1975, both men gathered at Chapman's house with a print of the film, and set to work on their script (reportedly titled "Dracula's Little Boy"). The soundtrack was reworked with Chapman, Adams and another Chapman writing partner, Bernard McKenna, providing new voices, but to no avail, as that version remains totally unreleased." Harry Nilsson - The Secret Tracks [Remasters Workshop RMW 079 1CD demonoid 2072913] "Not a single one of these recordings has ever been released anywhere. There are alternate versions of several 'Schmilsson' demos which have been overdubbed, remixed and had tons of reverb added for their commercial issue as bonus tracks. Those are not the same as the tracks on this CD. These recordings were dubbed straight to DAT from the studio masters years before their release was considered, and a cassette was made from a numerous DAT compilations. The CD is mastered from the cassette. There are outtakes from 'Son Of Schmilsson,' 'Popeye,' 'Flash Harry' and a few previously unheard songs as well. Some of the cuts that were included in the 'Harryties' set are in improved quality on 'Secret Tracks,' such as 'Feet' and 'He Needs Me'." - mojofilter02. . Ex SBD stereo.

I brought this combo into a few various concerts during the late 60's and to mid 70's. I wish I had brought it into Laura's 1976 concert, but a couple of my fondest memories were when I was able to meet her after both the 1971 and 1976 concerts. She was very warm, sweet, soft-spoken, approachable, and unforgettable - not at all diva-like. I so wish she were still here making more of her great music, and singing for us... It was such a great concert, with Laura playing a superb instrument (the Steinway piano for Seattle Symphony's guest artists) and singing with such control and passion. Looking back, I guess it was my place to be where I was to take a chance and haul that Uher and mic into the concert hall, so fans today can catch a glimpse of how great Laura was in concert.
